Entrepreneurship:
Students will explore the exciting world of entrepreneurship by turning their ideas into real-world possibilities. Through interactive activities, they will learn how to brainstorm business ideas, identify problems and create solutions, understand basic budgeting, and develop simple marketing strategies. Students will collaborate with peers, practice public speaking and build confidence as they pitch their ideas.

Visual Communications:
A zine (pronounced “zeen”) is a small, handmade mini-book where you can share your ideas, art, and creativity. In this activity, you’ll create your own zine using drawing, collage, or writing—whatever style you like! Once your zine is finished, you’ll trade it with classmates and check out each other’s work. This is a fun way to express yourself, share your interests, and get inspired by others!
Biology:
Our Outside Environment: Students will engage in a variety of activities while exploring science in the woods and stream at Ivy Tech. They will observe wildlife, conduct water quality assessments, identify plants, study ecological relationships, assess habitats, and reflect on their experiences. These hands-on experiences foster a deeper understanding of scientific concepts while instilling a sense of appreciation and stewardship for the natural world.
